Catholic Coloring Page: The Holy Spirit

This picture is of the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Blessed Trinity. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to the Apostles on Pentecost. We receive the Holy Spirit through the Sacrament of Baptism, and then fully through the Sacrament of Confirmation. Also, priests receive special graces from the Holy Spirit through the Sacrament of Holy Orders. The Holy Spirit lives in us and gives us special graces to live more holy lives. That is why we call our bodies "temples of the Holy Spirit." The Holy Spirit is also sometimes called the Holy Ghost.

“And there appeared to them parted tongues as it were of fire, and it sat upon every one of them: And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they began to speak with divers tongues, according as the Holy Ghost gave them to speak.”Acts 2:3-4
